There are many ways to get to Mason Square. Whether you prefer car, bus, bike, or train, there's a variety of options to make our campus accessible to you.
Public Transportation
Mason Square is conveniently located near many public transportation options. Visit the Transportation Services website for a current list of choices, including Metrorail, Metrobus, ART (Arlington Rapid Transit) Bus, bike routes (check our Bike Arlington), and more.
The campus features an electric vehicle charging station, located in the Van Metre Hall Garage, as well as a bike fix-it station (located on Founders Plaza).
From Fairfax Campus to Mason Square
The Fairfax/Mason Square shuttle operates between Sandy Creek Transit Center (with a stop at Rappahannock River Lane) on the Fairfax Campus and Van Metre Hall on Mason Square. All shuttles are free for Mason students and employees with valid Mason IDs presented when boarding. For more information on shuttles and schedules, please check out the Mason Shuttles website.
Driving to Mason Square
Visitor parking is available in the Van Metre Hall parking garage at the posted hourly rate. Faculty, staff, and students may purchase parking permits that will allow access to either the Vernon Smith parking garage (3434 Washington Blvd.) or the Van Metre Hall parking garage.
